Ambato Panther Chameleons are similar to those of Ambanja, just with more of a white background. This peninsula locality is sometimes called “Turquoise Blue” or “Blue Diamond” panther chameleons. These chameleons also come in two color morphs with similar barring of those chameleons from Ambanja. The blue bar morph also resembles those chameleons from Nosy Faly, just without the red speckling found on chameleons from Nosy Faly.
