About Clean Line Chameleons, the Owner:

Chris Carter has been a reptile enthusiast and breeder for years. Though he is only 26 years old, he has been breeding herps for 10+ years as a hobbiest. There was at no point during his teen years where he did not have the house full of vivariums, from the native Five Lined Skinks to the Australian Bearded Dragons, reptiles were clearly a big part of his life. His loving parents thought it was just a phase, but he has simply never grown out of it.

 

Through college he had to thin down his collection to focus on school but he continued to keep and breed Red Eyed Tree Frogs and Tiger Legged Monkey Frogs. Months after graduation he found himself at a reptile show suddenly getting back into chameleons. After a great deal of research he decided to begin breeding them and lo' and behold: his addiction was born! Learning more and more about Madagascar and its wildlife fueled his eagerness to work with these magnificent animals, focusing mainly Panther Chameleons (Furcifer pardalis).

 

After working a short time with these animals he relized that even though each locale is not a subspecies of Panther Chameleons, they do have slightly different physical features, beyond that of mere color variation. From this observation he decided to base his business.

Clean Line Chameleons (CLC) is dedicated to bringing the highest quality locale specific chameleons to you. Furthermore we will strive to bring you some new and more rare locales that are not currently or commonly being worked with in the States.

 

Just as important to CLC as our love of the animal, is the appreciation for its caretakers. We are committed to providing the some of the best customer service and education available. We want our consumers and the general public to have the arsenal to properly care for these amazing creatures to ensure longevity and prosperity. After all, at CLC, our chameleons are our pets not our products!
